Who We Are
The Rockit Crew is a volunteer-run community programme based in New Zealand, created to provide young adults with a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where they can build confidence, friendships, independence and community connection.
Founded by Jordan alongside a passionate team of volunteers, The Rockit Crew was created after recognising the need for ongoing social and community opportunities for young adults beyond school years. Our goal is to create a place where members feel accepted, valued and genuinely excited to attend each week.
The Rockit Crew run once a week workshops focused on creating meaningful social opportunities while helping members develop confidence, communication skills and independence in a fun and supportive environment.
Our Vision
The long-term vision for The Rockit Crew is to expand throughout New Zealand so more young adults and families can access safe, inclusive and meaningful community connection opportunities.
We are passionate about continuing to create spaces where young adults feel supported, encouraged and empowered to grow in confidence and independence while building genuine friendships and community involvement.
As The Rockit Crew grows, we hope to continue developing partnerships with businesses, community groups and supporters who share our vision for inclusion, connection and opportunity.
