The
Rockit Crew
Launching Confidence, Connection & Capability
Who are we?
The Rockit Crew is a volunteer-run community programme based in New Zealand, created to provide young adults with additional needs a safe, inclusive and supportive space to build confidence, friendships, independence and connections.
Through weekly workshops, activities and social opportunities, members are encouraged to express themselves, develop social skills, build meaningful relationships and grow in confidence within a welcoming environment where they can truly be themselves.
At The Rockit Crew, we believe every young adult deserves opportunities to feel included, valued and connected within their community.
We are currently holding workshops in Waikato with operations for our Auckland workshop to get under way for 2027. Contact us if you are wanting to find out more!
Darlene
"The Rockit Crew has truly filled a gap in our daughter’s life. Now in her mid-twenties, she values the social connection and sense of belonging that Rockit provides. It’s given her a safe and supportive space to build confidence, nurture friendships, and develop valuable life skills — all while trying new activities she loves."
Merran
"The Rockit crew has exceeded our expectations. With plenty of variety, the programme is loads of fun and develops skills and confidence at a level appropriate to our whānau. Long may it continue to provide such an opportunity."
Kim
"It is extremely difficult to find activities where our young people are accepted and celebrated for their individual talents. Jordan saw the need, and created a programme that exposed our young people to all sorts of different creative outlets and a different level of social engagement."
